Microsoft made an update available for the Windows Mobile Device Center in Windows Vista. This update primarily contains Windows Mobile 6 support, but other features have been added.
Below is a brief list of the the enhancement made to Device Center:
- Windows Mobile 6 feature support
- Information Rights Management activation
- HTML mail support
- Certificate Enrollment
- Allow data connections when connected to the PC
- File synchronization for smartphones
- Automatic device authentication.
This update is fully compatible with Windows Mobile 2003 devices and later. Download the
32-bit or the
64-bit version of the Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows Vista.
